Hey! I’m excited to share my story with you. As a 17-year-old high school senior who has recently been accepted into college, I am excited to share that I will be a first-generation college undergrad pursuing a degree in behavioral neuroscience.
I chose to create this blog under the alias Danae and blended the names Danae and Analyze to create the site name “Danalize.” This name embodies my mission of helping people analyze how things work while empowering them to achieve their goals in life. It is a combination of my passion for analysis and my desire to uplift and empower others.
While I may not have much coding experience, I believe that anything is possible with ambition, passion, and the right website. I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions and overcome obstacles, even if they lack experience in certain areas.
Throughout my college admissions and preparation journey, I faced many challenges and felt overwhelmed by the lack of resources and guidance available to first-gen students. Through this blog, I want to share my experiences and provide a platform where others can find the support and resources they need to succeed.
Let’s set out on this exciting journey together to challenge the traditional definition of success and create a new, more inclusive understanding of what it means to flourish. By working together, we can redefine success and demonstrate that there are countless paths to achieving our dreams.
